You’d Be a Fool Not To Celebrate
March Madness definitely earned its reputation last month and I personally am glad to be done with it. Time to celebrate the gorgeous days ahead with a little lightness in my step. First exercise, biking 10 miles today from Hollywood to the Shrine auditorium to hear a performance.
The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic performs at the historic Shrine Auditorium. Joined by the Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra, the Legal Voices chorus and the swing tunes of the Big Band of Barristers, the Philharmonic will play a wide-ranging program. Led by conductor Gary S. Greene, highlights include Jupiter and Mars from Holst’s The Planets, a medley of songs from The Music Man with special guest Hal Linden, music from Sibelius’ Finlandia and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, and much more. All proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Music to my ears.
