When The Bad Goes Away
I’m sure I”m not the first to discover this. But when you’ve been through so much pain or distress or heartbreak, a part of you gets used to the feeling. And when that feeling finally goes away, there’s nothing but emptiness. In that emptiness, sometimes, fear drops in.
Conditioning ourselves in all the “bad” is so much easier it seems than staying in the moment and opening up for all of the “good.”
It’s not impossible though. It just takes effort.
